Background: I have Asian eyelashes that point straight downwards. I have always had trouble with keeping my lashes curled. Most mascaras start out okay but my eyelashes will droop within an hour or two and mascara starts smearing under my eyes.
Mascaras #2
Pros:
- Instant volume
- Kept my lashes curled (at least for the hour that I kept it on)
Cons:
- It gathered my eyelashes together into groups of eyelashes. I'd say clumps but it doesn't have the distinct dry and clumpy look. The formula is also viscous enough to fill in the space between the lashes so my lashes were just more or less consolidated into larger freakishly thick lashes.
- It also smeared oddly. I didn't get panda face. Instead where a few lashes were not curled all the way or where the bottom of the curl was still able to touch the skin below my eyes the mascara was imprinted onto my skin like a perfect copy of my lashes. Not only that the marks were perfectly black as well as if I drew them on purpose with a thin liquid liner. (No this was not right after application and Yes I gave it time to dry.)
I think this mascara has great.. potential? For anyone with naturally curly and well-separated eyelashes I can see this doing wonders. As for me I still need to try it a few more times to see if I can make it work. However I can't risk going to school/work with weird lines on my face so that will have to wait.
