Questo cushion è una versione "estiva" del classico Mineral Any Cushion quindi ho pensato sarebbe potuto essere utile leggere una review soprattutto per le lettrici italiane visto che recentemente BB Cream Italia ha messo quest'ultimo in vendita per 19 euro refill escluso. La formulazione è uguale tranne che per il fatto che questo è waterproof e che il packaging è quello limited edition (che credo sia stato messo in permanente visto che ancora si trova in giro). Per il resto...stessa coprenza stesso colore stesso spf e stesse proprietà sbiancanti ed antirughe

This cushion is the "summer" version of  the classic Mineral Any Cushion released in a limited edition compact for the Lock'n'Summer Collection. I assume that later they decided to make it permanent because it's still available. Formulation and effects (whitening SPF and antiwrinkle) are the same but this one is waterproof.

I cushion Etude House contengono in generale 15g di prodotto (il che è poco per chi è abituato ai fondotinta in flacone) ma che basta per almeno due mesi e mezzo di applicazione costante. Io ho finito il mio primo cushion (proprio il Mineral Any Cushion classico) in questo lasso di tempo  applicandolo costantemente e costruendo la coprenza ogni volta. Siccome in Corea vendono i cushion sempre con un refill in più di quello originale mi è rimasto solo il refill che non ho ancora aperto perchè ho  troppi cushion da finire.
Altra nota che devo aggiungere per chi non è familiare con i cushion in generale è che il packaging è refillabile quindi non va buttato. Non bisogna comprare miliardi di cushion basta avere una cover e cambiare i refill; ERGO se avete acquistato un cushion Etude House nella sua cover potranno andare tutti i refill della stessa marca perchè il packaging è intercambiabile. Ad esempio nella custodia della Etude NON può andare un refill LANEIGE (nonostante la casa produttrice sia la stessa -.-) e viceversa. La custodia dei cushion Etude è leggermente meno profonda di un cushion Laneige ma più tozza di quelli di Elisha Coy. Come sempre hanno il separatore fra applicatore e spugnetta e hanno il foglietto peel-off di plastica per assicurarvi che il cushion è fresco e non è stato mai aperto prima. Nel complesso sono fatti di plastica abbastanza resistente basta a proteggere l'enorme specchietto all'interno.

Etude House cushions contain 15g of products in general (which isn't a lot if you consider 30 ml of a liquid foundation) but It can last at least two months and a half if you use it constantly. I finished my Mineral Any Cushion in that period of time but I still have my refill left cause in Korea they usually sell the cushion with another refill...I'm not planning to open it until I finish my other ones
Every  cushion is refillable but not every cushion's refill is intercheangable. Etude House cushion case are all the same so you can put whatever refill from the same label into every case. For example you cannot put a Laneige refill into a Etude House case but you can put a Magic cushion refill into a Lock'n'summer case etc...
As usual it has a lid that separates the air sponge from the product which is covered by a little peel off paper to guarantee that your product is fresh and never been touched. The plastic is sturdy enough to protect the giant mirror inside.

Così come praticamente tutti i prodotti cushion anche il Mineral Any Cushion versione waterproof è estremamente leggero sul viso ma non ha la stessa sensazione rinfrescante del cushion Laneige ( il mio nella case limited edition è la versione Renewal e potete leggere la recensione QUI.). Sin da subito ho notato come la air puff (la spugnetta applicatrice in rubycell) prelevasse molto più prodotto di quella Laneige; questo probabilmente perchè la spugna imbevuta di prodotto nel caso della Etude è molto più dura e compatta. E' una cosa che ho notato anche con il mio magic any cushion in mint (una base in cushion )...sono più dure e sprofondano di meno quando le pressi rispetto a quelli Laneige quindi si possono "bistrattare" un po' di più. Anche la spugnetta è meno assorbente cosa che si combina perfettamente con la texture più spessa del prodotto. Vi mostro la differenza fra i vari applicatori e quanto prelevano nella foto tanto per farvi avere un'idea ma tenete conto che il mio cushion laneige è quasi finito ed è stato MOLTO più usato del Mineral Any Cushion.

Just like every cushion product this waterproof version of the Mineral Any Cushion is very lightweight and but hasn't the light cooling sensation which I experienced with my Laneige one (here). The air puff is lightly different between the two the Etude house one takes more product and absorbs less of the BB even if in the picture the difference is extreme because my Laneige is almost finished. Maybe that happens because the sponge of the Etude one is harder and less squishy than the laneige's so it makes you pick up more product in a easier way. The sponge elasticity is the same as its counterpart "mineral Magic cushion" in mint...same packaging sponge and applicator less delicate than the Laneige.  That means that i can abuse this cushion as much as I want eheh.

La coprenza la definirei media o da leggera a media dove nel mio standard di giudizio il "leggero" corrisponde alla coprenza del Mac Face&Body. A chiunque piaccia quest'ultimo il Lock'n'Summer cushion piacerà un sacco anzi è anche più modulabile. la prima volta che applicai il Mineral Any cushion normale rimasi impressionata dalla coprenza che è elevata rispetto al livello degli altri cushion che ho provato e nella versione Lock'n'Summer il livello di coprenza non cambia. Il prodotto è più denso del solito ma sempre leggero e facilmente modulabile sul viso. Purtroppo Etude House non produce cushion dalla base rosata quindi tutte e quattro le colorazioni disponibili hanno sottotono giallo La mia colorazione è l'N02 la più chiara che è comunque un filino più scuretta per me (che sonoNC10-15 da mac) ma si aggiusta facilmente sfumandola sul collo. Per sfumare NON intendo strisciare la spugnetta sulla pelle ma tamponarla. Strisciare la spugnetta non è il migliore modo per applicare un cushion e rovina l'applicatore in breve tempo.

The coverage is medium or from sheer to medium where for sheer I mean the kind of coverage of the Face and Body by mac. If you like Face&Body you'll prbably like this cushion even more it's also waterproof but the coverage can be build faster and better. The very first time i applied the Mineral Any Cushion I was surprised by its coverage  same when I applied this... Another evidence that their formula is baically almost the same. The product inside is denser but still buildable on the skin. Sadly all the few shades available are yellow base and they apply a little bit lighter than the bb creams from the same label. My shade is N02 the lightest shade but it's still a little bit darker (I'm Nc10-Nc15 in MAC shade rage) and I adjust it blending it on the neck. Blending means: PATTING the air puff when you apply it DON'T SWIPE IT; it's not effective and you will ruin the air puff.

Appena applicato risulta essere estremamente dewy quasi a effetto bagnato...per questo non consiglierei di spolverare immediatamente la cipria. Semplicemente si asciugherà in dieci minuti e acquisterà un finish satinato. Ricordo che questa versione è waterproof e i cushion in generale sono progettati per dover evitare l'applicazione della cipria. Questa versione ha anche un leggero effetto antioleosità ma tenderà comunque a lucidarsi nel tempo. Appena applicato osservandolo minuziosamente ho notato un effetto shimmeroso (è una licenza poetica) dovuto a piccole particelle quasi invisibili sul viso che rendono il viso molto luminoso...a differenza di quello Kiko che non ha nessun riflesso degno di nota. Gli shimmer spariscono una volta asciugato il prodotto sul viso

Once applied it's very dewy almost wet...I wouldn't suggest to immediately apply a powder tho Simply it will dry and set on your skin in something like ten minutes and it dries in a satin finish. I could definitely notice some shimmers under the light thing that I don't notice in the KIKO Cushion. I also want to remind you that this is basically WATERPROOF so it doesn't need a powder to be fixed but I usually put it because I like it.  It tends to get a little bit shiny anyway. The waterproof any cushion also controls shine but it's not really effective. The very  first moment I applied it I noticed some shimmers which there aren't in the Kiko cushion; this is probably why it has a brightening effect. These shimmers disappear when the product dries on the face.

Devo ammettere che essendo il finish satin/semi dewy non migliora la texture della pelle. Non si infila nelle rughe di espressione o nei pori non li enfatizza... ma nemmeno li cancella. Anzi proprio per questo suo finish se come me avete qualche brufoletto gonfio o qualche brufoletto sottopelle abbastanza visibile potrebbe anche finire per enfatizzarlo. Nonostante questo non mi sento di "sconsigliarlo" per chi ha acne o sfoghi cutanei perchè è leggerissimo e non vi darebbe il fastidio di un pastone extracoprente sul viso; inoltre può essere facilmente reso matte con una cipria.  Anche io soffro di sfoghi ormonali e uso i cushion per la base giornaliera anche perchè usare il pennello per applicare un fondo sulla mia già sensibile pelle arrossata aggraverebbe la situazione invece la spugnetta mi salva. Le spugnette non sono facili da lavare e io stessa le interscambio molto spesso perchè si asciugano dopo vent'anni ma fra un'applicazione e l'altra potete tranquillamente disinfettarle con una leggera spruzzata di alcol sulla superficie dell'applicatore e del suo contenitore.
La durata è ottima protegge la pelle dai raggi del sole ed è facile da riapplicare. Non necessita della cipria...però io non riesco a sopportare l'appiccicosità del prodotto da solo ergo la applico sempre.

Since the finish is dewy/semi matte it doesn't improve the texture of the skin. It doesn't emphasize small lines or wrinkles nor pores...but it doesn't hide it either. This kind of finish will probably emphasize every bump or spot that you have or any kind of uneven texture. I don't feel like bashing on this product and tell everyone who has acne or blemishes not to buy it because it's so lightweight and it doesn't need to be applied with the brush rubbing the skin. That means it won't irritate your skin moreover. It covers enough after all so it's perfect for everyday use and touch ups. Air puffs aren't that easy to wash but I spray some alcohol every now and then on the pack and on the air sponge between the washes. It is long lasting indeed but if it fades during the day you can easily apply some more without looking cakey.  It doesn't need any powder but I always apply it because of my personal taste.
